From the reports I have, the Muslim community in A.P. is disappointed at the inclusion of only one Muslim in your Council of Ministers. The Muslims constitute nearly 10% of the population of A.P. and while they may not have wholly voted for the TDP, they should have their due and equitable representation in the government. Apart from the'Muslim MLAs of your party, there are many apolitical and professionally competent Muslims in AP who are in a position to extend valuable support to you for the progress of the State under your enlightened leadership. You have a wide field of choice. Indeed, the field would have been wider, had you fielded more Muslim candidates from Muslim concentration Constituencies. I request you to ensure that the Muslims of AP do not nurse a feeling of deprivation and have an opportunity to join hands with you in taking the State forward.
