RSS chief Rajendra Singh reportedly in Lucknow has asked Muslims to hand over the temples of Ayodhya, Kashi and Mathura to the Hindus. (in lieu of) "around 3,000 Hindu temples were demolished by Muslim rulers ... " There could hardly be a more attractive offer for the Muslims to buy peace, nay to survive, in their own country. Does the RSS (and its front organisation BJP, VHP, etc) want the history to be rewritten; if so, of which period? Also how does the figure of 3,000 temples include Jain and Buddhist temples? Have the Jains and Buddhists (who form part of Indian society as much as Hindus) been consulted before offering the deal to Muslims? Again has any study been made by the RSS and its allies to identify hundreds of Jain and Buddhist temples ... destroyed or turned into Hindu temples by Hindu rulers? Is it too much to expect Hindus to show the same magnanimity to Jains and Buddhists as they expect from Muslims, by restoring the Jain and Buddhist temples ...  (K.Y.
