 Resolutions

1. Vigil India Movement firmly believes that religious pluralism as a reality in India should be recognized and acknowledged and it is the duty of every religion to respect the other religions and live in peace with each other.

2. This National Meet of Vigil India Movement welcomes the decision of Government of India to allow the Amnesty International to visit Kashmir for studying Human Rights situation prevailing there. This clearly indicates that India being a promoter of Human Rights has nothing to hide from the world in matters relating to observance of Human Rights.

3. The National Meet of the Vigil India Movement is distressed at the latest developments relating to Ram Janmabhoomi-Babari Masjid problems and resolves to make yet another fervent appeal to the concerned communities to solve this dispute amicably by negotiations, and mutual discussion in the interest of communal harmony and integrity of the nation which are essential for the progress of the nation. However, if no amicable solution is reached despite prolonged negotiations, we appeal to both parties to await and abide by the decision of the Court.
