VHP: Programme Of Action 1 February-4 April 1991


 

...As per the decision taken at the Central Marg Darshak Mandal which met at Allahabad on January 15 and 16, we have decided seven types of programmes for the next three months. These are as follows:

(1) Mass contact and public meetings by religious heads from villages to bloc levels in UP from February 1.

(2) Mass demonstrations in each districts in the country especially in UP on a single date (date to be decided). Thereafter on March 12 a mass demonstration at Lucknow (venue to be decided).

(3) Hoisting of Bhagwa Flag on the house-tops of each Hindu house on March 17 i.e. Varsh Pratipada day, all over India.

(4) After February 15 a regular 10 days' workshop course for the Bajrang Dal and Durga Vahini will be conducted at Ayodhya.

(5) Celebrating Sri Ram (Janma) Navami Utsav through the Hindustom.

(6) Bajrang Dal to prepare an exhaustive list of all Hindu shrines desecrated or demolished by the foreign aggressors, rulers and organised groups. They will submit their report by March 31 next.

In case the demand for the reconstruction of the Sri Ram Janambhoomi Temple in Ayodhya and demands of shrine on Mathura and Varanasi are not met we shall demand the handing over of all these temples and shrines to the Hindus.

(7) Mass demonstration before Parliament on April 4.

...A resolution has already been passed... authorising the Ram Janambhoomi Trust to construct Ram Temple at Ayodhya...
