It is no more a hidden agenda. The BJP, the largest constituent of the so-called National Democratic Alliance may take any posture for public consumption ... the fact is that it is bound by the agenda of the Sangh Parivar. It will go to any extent to justify the acts of omission and commission of the members of the Parivar. Karunanidhis and Chandrababu Naidus may fume and fumble but will not have guts to bridle the BJP.
The latest instance is the lifting of ban on participation of government employees in the activities of the RSS. The Gniezat government, the model of Hindu Rashtra, as the Sangh Parivar proudly project it, first withdrew the circular banning participation of government employees in the activities of the RSS. It was followed by the announcement by UP CM ...
. Both the chief ministers have made it clear that they are not bound by the NDA agenda and will go ahead with the implementation of the BJP manifesto of 1998 which includes all the contentious issues. And this has been approved by both PM Vajpayee and HM Advani.
While Vajpayee claims that as RSS is a social and cultural organisation, there can be no. ban on the participation of government employees in its activities, the home minister has gone a step ahead by saying that all such ban will be reviewed at the central level as well. From ali these pronouncements of the BJP leaders, it is obvious that the party is working on a plan for insidious penetration and subversion of the system.
RSS has always ... interfered in politics, directly and indirectly ... It controls many organisations which are active on various fronts. BJP is its political wing and its leaders have always followed the diktats from Nagpur. Hence, RSS cannot claim to" be a non-political organisation.
Secondly, RSS claims to be working for a theocratic state which it terms as "Hindu Rashtra". This is totally in variance with the concept of secularism enshrined in the Constitution ... From this angle, RSS ... preaches against the very basis of our Constitutional system. Hence participation in its activities will mean working against the Constitution and the system prevailing in the country. Can goverment employees be allowed to participate in activities which may subvert the Constitution and the system?
The power hungry allies of the BJP who swear by secularism are ignoring this stark reality. One can understand the somersault by the ex-socialists , like Fernandes, Sharad Yadav and Ram Vilas Paswan as they are known to be fair-weather cocks. But what about those regional satraps who are wallowing the mud in the name of stability?
... Sangh Parivar will (use) this opportunity to penetrate. and subvert the system. It is already packing the sensitive departments like education, mass media, culture and youth affairs with diehard Sanghis. It is bent upon subverting the education system to condition the future generations to the fascistic ideology of RSS. Now making the government employees subservient to the commands of RSS will ruin the very edifice of our polity and society ... Indeed our secular and democratic constitution is being besieged from withiti.
