... As it has been in the past elections, the Congress(l) has allocated one seat to a Muslim candidate - Abrar Ahmed in Jhalawar - while the BJP has no nominee from the community.

The Congress(I) perhaps is experimenting with the constituencies when it comes to Muslim candidates. In the previous election, the Muslim nominee of the party had fought election in Jaipur, and prior to that from Jhunjhunu.

Ever since the upsurge of the Hindutva in the country, the Congress(I) has been rotating its seat for nomination of a Muslim candidate.
