"The Babari Masjid Movement is indeed gratified that the entire opposition led by the Congress(I) has raised in both Houses of Parliament vital issues related to the Babari Masjid - the deliberate evasion of presence in the CBI Special Court by the accused including L.K. Advani, M.M. Joshi and Uma Bharati to defeat the ends of justice by delaying the framing of charges as well as the reiteration of Ram Janambhoomi Mandir being on the BJP Agenda by the CM, UP, and other leading lights of the party. The clarifications given by the Prime Minister do not carry credibility. He has not stated categorically that the construction of the proposed Mandir and the take-over of the Shahi Idgah Masjid, Mathura and Gyan Vapi Masjid in Varanasi are no longer on the BJP's agenda. The BJP's doubletalk and its control by the RSS have thus been exposed. However, no opposition party has come up with a positive agenda for the solution of the Babari Masjid Question.

The Babari Masjid Movement would like to know:

* Whether they will question the legality of the makeshift temple and the on-going puja and darshan or, alternatively, press for permission to the Muslim community to perform Namaz on the site, till the title is decided?

* Whether they will come forward to testify before the Liberhan Commission of Inquiry and assist it to unravel the conspiracy behind the Demolition?'

* Whether the opposition parties will press the Government to expedite the proceedings in the title suit pending before Special Bench of the Allahabad High Court?

* Whether they will commit themselves to the execution of the final judicial verdict on title, whatever the political cost?

* Whether they will propose the formation of a Parliamentary Committee to monitor the progress of the Title Suit, the CBI Case and the Inquiry?

* Whether they will support a permanent solution based on restoration of Babari Masjid site to the Muslim community and the construction of the proposed Ram Temple on an adjacent site?
