Shahabuddin's Letter to Wakf Board/DDA 4 October, 1999

Perhaps you are aware that a historic Masjid, belonging to the Lodi period, located at the intersection of the Mehrauli-Badarpur Road in the vicinity of the Qutub Minar has been demolished by the owner of the land on which it stood. The owner, one Mr. Naseem claims that he had taken the approval of all authorities concerned including the Delhi Wakf Board. I am sure that you appreciate that a Masjid is by definition a public Wakf.
