According to newspaper report, the Govt. of UP have, under the Kalpa Yojana, made Saraswati Vandana - worship of Hindu Goddess Saraswati, Vande Mataram and study of Sanskrit compulsory in all primary and junior schools in UP - perhaps both government and private.

Our children had already been deprived of their right to learn their mother tongue. Now they are going to be deprived of their religion.

I request you to take the lead and ask the government to withdraw the order otherwise the Muslims will be forced to withdraw their children from the schools to protect their religious identity and their fundamental rights. I also request that the order may be challenged through a writ petition in the High Court.
