Outside the yellowing pages of history, the first and the only women to reign over Delhi as Sultan is forgotten figure. So are the tales of her valour and the heroic battle she fought against her brother who murdered and dethroned her.

Little wonder that a few remember ... Sultan Razi mausoleum at Bhojla-ki-Pahari. It's now an easy prey for encroachers, who have hung ugly plastic sheets around the .. monument and turned it into an urban ghetto.

The place ... is (in) the heart of old Delhi ... in the dingy cat-alleys of the Pahari, behind the Turkman Gate.

... The tomb has been co-opted by the locals as a extension of their residential area - a kind of place to off prayer next-door ... The tomb has pretention architecture with an enclosure on a central platform. It has two graves, but the identity of the second is not known ...
