I welcome your statement in the Rajya Sabha regarding systematic effort to have more High Court judges from the SC/ST and OBC's 1 recall that earlier the Government had included Muslims in the list of groups which the Chief Ministers and Chief Justices had been asked to consider and locate suitable advocates therefrom.

The omission of Muslims from the list of under-represented groups in your statement is somewhat ominous. I hope in your advisory, you include Muslims also, since there are very few Muslim High Court judges today.
