Modasa is a Taluka town.in Sabarklantha district in Gujarat. Out of a population of about 50,000, Muslims number are 22,000. Here is a brief report on the Progress of the Muslims of Modasa during the last 2 decades.
Economic Organisation:
To improve the economic condition of the community, ' the Muslims have established financial institutions like banks and credit societies whose profit is generally used for the development in the field of education, health and social welfare. (See Table Below)
