In Suburban school in Westchester county, New. York, a third-grade teacher has regularly taught a lesson on Indian culture in which students, after hearing stories about the Hindu god Ganesh, are asked to make their own Ganeshas from paper.

But, now a Federal Judge has ruled that the ... School District must stop this lesson and two other activities because they violated students' ... right to religious freedom.
