... Vajpayee is increasingly becoming a figure head. The difference between Vajpayee and Advani on governance are too evident to be missed. And everyone knows who wields real power. Significant is the statement by Advani that the government's achievement in the last three months is the bomb. One way to interpret him is that he has admitted the coalition's failure. But the other interpretation is that he has directed a barb at Vajpayee who, Advani seems to suggest, is. not capable of leading a government which can perform ... The government  which has its two top leaders poles apart, cannot but be inconsequential. Ultimately, things will come out in the public.
