Constitution of Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church (1934), Section 7, 25 - Parish Church -Managing Committee - Election - Voters' list - Preparation of, as per Parish Assembly Register and Holy Confession Register - Not insisted upon as decision of Supreme Court making swearing allegiance to 1934 Constitution an essential requirement was passed after preparation of voters' list was ordered by Court - And as dispute between the rival factions was subsisting as to before whom the confession should be made - Court allowed every member who proposes to participate in election to swear allegiance to the 1934 Constitution in the form of an affidavit - Voters' list prepared by joint receivers was allowed to prevail also with a view to maintaining sense of democratic content in the Church.                        (Source: AIR 1998 Kerala 237)
