Some Muslim organisations seem to be wanting to parley with the BJP for the latter to give them certain promises in return for delivery of Muslim voters ...
When P.V. Narasimha Rao was the Chief Minister of Andhra Prádesh, a Muslim delegation, led by Syed Salahuddin Owaisi, (the leader of MIM, the inheritor of Kasim Razvi's Razakar Movement) gave a long list of demands to be met with by the Government to do justice to the minorities. Narasimha Rao patiently read the entire list and at the end is reported to have said: "Owaisiji! You have forgotten to include one most important demand".
Owaisi asked what it was. Narasimha Rao said: "You forgot to include the demand to restore the Nizam's rule in Hyderabad". The BJP should not forget history .. (Source: The Pioneer, 27 January, 1998)
