How I saw Khan is a legendary figure in Mewat region of Rajasthan, He lives in Pahadi town in a room he looks after the cases of the Wakf Board ...

He had married four times and lives with his present wife and 20 children including 8 sons and 12 daughters in the village in Rajasthan, He cannot recall how many of his are dead. The number may be between he had lost two of his wives and third one migrated to Pakistan in 1947.

The entire Khan clan comprises about 50 members. He Ilies not remember the names of most of his grand children nor is he able to recognise them.

He does not correctly remember his date of birth but says he passed the 8" standard examination in 1935.

Khan has never touched wine or cigarette in his life. Brisk walking has kept him fit all these years.

Khan has only one more wish - to die in peace. He believes this is possible only if Hindus and Muslims coexist peacefully ... Communal passions bother him deeply. The decline of moral values in society pains him. "I get very upset over the killings of innocent people in Kashmir. Corruption has become rampant in public life and people have become self-centred".
