The historical fact that the progress and prosperity of this land rest mainly upon Hindus should be obvious to any unbiased mind. As such a well-consolidated Hindu society, rising above all differences of caste, sect, party or language, could alone form the firm base for real national integration. If, instead of doing that, the Hindus are vilified is season and out of season it would only demoralise them and strike at the very foundations of the nation. The RSS feels that the first step towards national integration should therefore be the strengthening of the Hindu society. For this, there is no need to entertain hatred or ill-will towards any one. The only way to bring about national integration is to inculcate feelings of intense love of the motherland and reverence for the national traditions with values of life.
