The Central Committee (CC) of the CPI(M) noted with concern the refusal of Israel to concede the legitimate demands of the Palestinian people and obstructing the realisation of an independent Palestine state ... The Central Committee expressed firm support to the cause of the Palestinian people and the stand of the PLO on the .demand for an independent Palestinian state and having East Jerusalem as the capital.

The CC strongly denounces the shameful step taken by the Vajpayee government in withdrawing recognition to the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) ...
