* To mark the 100th death anniversary of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, the University has decided to establish six sub-centres in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Calcutta, Jammu and Kashmir which will offer graduate courses in Arts, Commerce, Law, Business Management and Computer Science.
* Introduction of job-oriented courses including B.Sc. (Engineering) in Petrochemical Technology, PG Diploma in Business Finance, B.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry, Bachelor in Computer Application, P.G. Diploma in Human Rights, M.A. in Human Rights, M.A. in English Language Teaching and a 5-year integrated LL.B. course.
* Opening of Dental College.
* Creation of new Management Studies Faculty
* Restoration of Academic schedule.
* Establishment of an International Centre of Alumni Affairs under the stewardship of Pro-Vice-Chancellor to stitch up contact with the Old Boys ... The Centre will prepare a Directory of Old Boys settled in foreign countries and keep them fully acquainted with the development of the University.
* Completion of Boundary Wall of the Campus. The boundary wall nearly two kilometers long will end encroachment on the University land.
* Completion of Working Women Hostel and Crèche.
* Construction of Main Gate of University Campus.
* Creation of a Corpus Fund of Rs.25 crore for revamping the existing laboratories and expansion and creation of new libraries, repairs of buildings, improvement in sewerage and internal roads.
* Installation of E-mail and Internet.
* Scraping of interview for nomination with merit as the sole criterion.
* Introduction of "Meet the Students" to ensure speedy redressal of students problems.
