It is distressing to note that A.B. Vajpayee has very shrewdly avoided to give a specific and categorical assurance to the nation for implementing the Court judgement if it goes in favour of the Muslims ..

While saying that verdict for construction of Ram Mandir will be given effect to, should have specifically declared that verdict for Babari Masjid will also be given effect to and by not saying so, he has only strengthened the doubts and apprehensions that his Government is partisan in this matter and cannot uphold the rule of law and dignity of the Court ... Let Mr. Vajpayee instruct the Attorney General to request the Special Bench of the High Court dealing the Babari Masjid suits to dispose of the cases by holding the trial on day to day basis.

It would also be desirable that the carving of stones etc. and other preparations being carried on by VHP for construction of temple be stopped forthwith and persons like Giriraj Kishore, throwing open challenge to the Supreme Court also, be taken to task.
